I first learned of the phrase, “Flying Monkeys,” online in a blog about Narcissistic Mothers.

Flying monkeys were bad because they were the bad witch’s helpers as in the movie Wizard of Oz.

Yes they are quite evil but then it occurred to me that they might be acting from a place of Stockholm Syndrome(where they protect their abuser).

Even the flying monkeys are being abused although less so than the innocent(the victim, the target) who they are after.

I’m not saying this gives them the right to do what they do.

I’m suggesting that the flying monkeys don’t know themselves what motivates them.

Quick ID Psychopaths Time-Saver

Their speech gives them away.

(I swear some of them know this about themselves and don’t talk or much at all).

They are a riddle of contradictions and speak in opposites.

I knew of a girl who grew up this way without a basic education.

Being the good girl that she was she believed these opposites, projections, etc and failed miserably in life.

Got an education to discover that her parent was a pathological liar.

Tell yourself,

“I’m better than that,” firmly and confidently.

Knowing that you were sold short by your abusers for far too long.

Now say it again.

Repeat when necessary.

Homelessness is a hard life.

Yet treated psychiatric patients survive this and are generally victimized.

My question is…How would a Malignant Narcissist or Psychopath be living on the streets?

Would they be tame and vulnerable much like the majority of psych patients?

Would they be different?

How?
